Every box is sanded through multiple grits—from rough to ultra-fine—before being hand-polished to a brilliant shine. The finish is deep and reflective, allowing the natural grain patterns to dance in the light. Open a Walnut box and you'll see rich, chocolatey browns with subtle figuring. Pick up a Zebrawood box and you'll be captivated by its dramatic, contrasting stripes.
Unlike mass-produced boxes that use veneers or stains, these are solid wood through and through. You can feel the weight and quality in your hands. The lids fit perfectly, the hinges are smooth, and the interiors are left natural or lined depending on the design—perfect for storing jewellery, watches, cigars, keepsakes, or anything else you hold dear.
Each cigar box is crafted entirely by hand in my Hebden Bridge workshop. I source my hardwoods from sustainable suppliers, selecting each piece for its unique grain character. No two boxes are identical—the wood itself dictates the final design. I might spend days on a single box, sanding and polishing until it meets my standards.

Absolutely. I post all my handcrafted gifts anywhere in the UK using Royal Mail. Each box is carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely. Delivery typically takes 3-5 working days.
