Carved from the finest Rosewood, Oak, and Walnut, our pendants are more than just jewelryâthey're wearable talismans designed to invite good fortune into your daily rhythm. Each pendant is shaped to suggest a nature spiritâa face emerging from the wood, a leaf-like form, an abstract representation of the green man, the goddess, or the wildwood. These pendants are unisexâsimple enough for everyday wear, distinctive enough to spark conversation. They look beautiful against a plain t-shirt, a sweater, or even formal wear. The natural wood tones complement any colour palette, and the organic shapes feel both ancient and modern.
Each wood has its own energy, its own story. Rosewood is rich, dark, and exoticâassociated with love, protection, and creativity. Oak is strong, grounding, and traditionalâthe wood of endurance and wisdom. Walnut is warm, deep, and sophisticatedâlinked to intellect, focus, and manifestation. When you choose a pendant, you're not just choosing a colour; you're choosing a symbolic partnership.
The designs vary from pendant to pendant. Some are carved with the Green Manâleaves sprouting from a face. Others are more abstractâa swirling form that suggests wind or water. A few are simple leaf shapes, elegant and understated. I carve what the wood tells me to carve, so each pendant is truly one of a kind.
Each Nature Spirit Pendant comes with a waxed cotton cord (adjustable length) or a leather thong, depending on availability. The cord is knotted securely, but you can easily replace it with your own chain if you prefer. The pendant itself has a small hole drilled near the topâlarge enough for most chains or cords but subtle enough not to distract from the carving.
I finish each pendant with several coats of Danish oil or a light varnish, depending on the wood. This seals the pendant against sweat and weather, but it's still woodâavoid swimming or showering while wearing it. With reasonable care, your pendant will last for decades, darkening and mellowing beautifully with age.

Yesâevery single one. I carve each pendant by hand in my Hebden Bridge workshop using small carving tools and a lot of patience. No two are exactly alike.
Light wear is fineâthe oil finish protects against normal skin contact. But avoid swimming, showering, or heavy rain while wearing the pendant. Wood is porous; too much moisture can cause warping or dark spots.
Absolutely. I post all my handcrafted gifts anywhere in the UK using Royal Mail. Each pendant is carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely. Delivery typically takes 3-5 working days.
