Every Witches Black Cat is carved entirely by hand in my Hebden Bridge workshop using sustainably sourced timber. I start by selecting the finest pieces of woodâeach with its own unique grain patternâthen sketch, cut, carve, and sand until the cat's personality emerges. The process takes several hours per figurine, with multiple stages of hand-finishing to achieve that deep, lustrous midnight stain.

Absolutely. I post all my handcrafted gifts anywhere in the UK using Royal Mail. Each cat is carefully wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap to ensure it arrives safely. Delivery typically takes 3-5 working days.
Yes, the finish is safe and fully cured. The cats are sealed with a protective varnish topcoat that prevents colour transfer. You can place them directly on wooden furniture, fabric, or shelves without any risk of marking.
