These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchases from In Grained. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Our Products
All our products are handcrafted from natural materials. This means:
- Each piece is unique with natural variations in grain, color, and texture
- Product photos are representative; the actual item may vary slightly
- Dimensions are approximate and may vary by a few millimeters
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit cards). Payment is taken at the time of order.
4. UK Consumer Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to:
- Cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item (see Returns Policy)
- Receive goods that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality
- A full refund if your item is faulty or doesn't match its description
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship throughout the UK. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. We're not responsible for delays beyond our control.
6. Returns and Refunds
You have 14 days from receipt to cancel your order and return items for a full refund (excluding return shipping costs). Items must be returned in original condition. To initiate a return, contact us at ingrainedshop@gmail.com.
Faulty items: We'll cover return shipping and issue a full refund or replacement.

7. Custom and Bespoke Orders
For custom-made items, the 14-day cooling-off period doesn't apply once work has begun. We'll agree on design specifications before starting, and changes may incur additional costs. A 10% deposit is required before work commences.
8. Limitation of Liability
We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of your order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
